Mumbai
Bombay Electric – a one-off treasure trove of eclectic vintage finds, accessories and unique own-brand women’s and men’s fashion, ethically designed and made by leading Indian designers, ateliers and village artisans. Housed in a stunning historic Colaba space with revolving art installations and exterior incense garden. Always changing, always worth a visit.
Bungalow Eight – another Colaba hidden gem. Three floors of fashion, accessories and eclectic vintage lifestyle and homeware products, set within a rustic historic warehouse. Would not be out of place in Soho New York.
Abode – a new boutique hotel located in Colaba, curated and designed by Sian Pascale. Individually designed rooms sitting around a central social lobby with shop and cafe. The hotel supports disadvantaged local people who offer spa services and transport. A nice change from the corporate global hotel brands.
Jaipur
