We partnered with Google to celebrate the launch of the Google Pixel 10 with an immersive experience on one of Madrid’s most iconic streets. Located within Telefónica’s Espacio Movistar de Gran Vía, the experience invited people into The Cube, an in-store playground with LED screens covering floor to ceiling, fit with immersive surround sound. 

Designed as a place of discovery, play and delight, the experience encouraged curiosity and celebrated the joy of creative exploration. Visitors were taken on a unique sensory journey that showcased the extensive capabilities of the Pixel 10’s multiple features, including its camera and Nano Banana, Gemini’s powerful AI image generation and editing model. 

Visitors to The Cube were invited to step into a series of immersive motion-graphic scenescapes featuring ‘beautiful and fanciful’ AI-generated creations powered by Google Veo 3.1. Set against real street scenes and iconic Madrid landmarks, captured exclusively on the Google Pixel 10 for the experience, these imagined worlds blended the familiar with the extraordinary.

The first animation in the series unveiled a spectacular rainbow rainstorm over the lake in Retiro Park, where enormous raindrops magically transform into countless silver rubber ducks floating across the water beside a fabulously oversized giant duck.

The second animation presents a dreamlike scene in Plaza Mayor, where a cascade of marshmallow-like spheres flows through the square, transforming into a vibrant pink dust storm that ultimately reveals a gigantic pink hippo. These marshmallow-like balls are also referenced in the design of the shopfront window for Espacio Movistar on Gran Vía.

The third animation shows the Temple of Debod being transformed into a living tapestry, blanketed in lush greenery and a vibrant flurry of butterflies.
