Building on our Duke Street Emporium concept from 2014, we’re designing Jigsaw’s new flagship store in the landmark St James’s Market development, and it’s set to be the British fashion brand’s most luxurious statement to date.
We’re giving the new store a premium treatment in tune with its iconic surroundings. Statement artworks and lighting will be familiar features from Duke Street, in addition to a press room on the lower ground floor. A floating mezzanine layer, bold messages in relief text, and contrasting layers of terrazzo marble and skimmed plaster are also part of the upscale design for St James’s Emporium. At approximately 280 sqm, it will offer Jigsaw’s full range of men’s and women’s clothing, footwear and accessories as well as a 90sqm shop-in-shop for sister brand The Shop at Bluebird. Jigsaw joins leading lifestyle brands Smeg and ASSOS in St James’s Market, a £400m joint venture between The Crown Estate and Oxford Properties to create a new world class retail, business and leisure destination in the heart of this historic part of London’s West End.
