For more than four decades, at Dalziel & Pow we have built our reputation on bold ideas, creative ambition and a fiercely collaborative culture. Today, we're proud to announce an important new chapter in our story: Dalziel & Pow is now an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).
This means that every member of the team now has a meaningful stake in the business and a shared role in shaping our future.
Since our founding in 1983 we've remained proudly independent, and this independence has allowed us to think differently, challenge convention and focus on creating the iconic brands, experiences and environments that help our clients stand apart.
Becoming employee-owned not only protects that independence for the long term, but strengthens the culture that has made Dalziel & Pow what it is today.
At its heart, this transition is about recognising the people whose talent, creativity and commitment drive the business forward every day.
Employee ownership creates a stronger connection between the success of the company and the people behind it. More importantly, it gives everyone a greater voice in how Dalziel & Pow grows, evolves and makes decisions.
As part of the new structure, we've established the D&P Employees Forum, bringing colleagues together every quarter to share ideas directly with the Board. The forum is built on a simple belief: great ideas can come from anywhere, and everyone should have the opportunity to help shape the future of the business.
Whether it's a small improvement or a bold new direction, every voice matters.
Over the years, we've received approaches from larger organisations interested in acquiring the business. While many independent agencies have chosen that path, we've always believed that Dalziel & Pow's greatest strength lies in remaining true to ourselves.
Our independence allows us to move with agility, stay close to our clients and preserve the entrepreneurial spirit that fuels our work. Employee ownership ensures that those values remain protected for generations to come.
The Board of D&P will continue to manage the business, ensuring continuity in leadership, strategy, and the high standards our clients and partners deserve.
Keith Ware, Managing Director of Dalziel & Pow, said:
"We've watched many respected competitors become part of larger groups and gradually lose the DNA that made them uniquely special. We always knew that wasn't the future we wanted for Dalziel & Pow.
By putting ownership into the hands of our employees, we're safeguarding our independence and ensuring that our future is shaped by the people who know and care about this business most. It's an exciting step that gives us a strong foundation for the next chapter of our journey.”
Becoming employee-owned is more than a change in structure; it's a commitment to the future.
It's a way of ensuring that we remain an ambitious, independent and creatively driven business, while giving the people behind our success an even greater role in defining our future.
We're excited about what comes next and proud that we'll be building it together.
