This little movie flipped my lid earlier in the week. With the lines between the virtual and the real becoming ever more blurred this physical and digital set up demonstrates just how close the two worlds are becoming. This could mean all sorts of exciting innovations for design and retail with dynamically altering environments, set in time with music, creating almost a living store or even customers physically controlling and moving product from a digital interface within window displays, even simple and engaging games in quiet areas to increase engagement and dwell time would be effective. I’m definitely going to be intrigued with how this technology develops and the application hopefully becomes even more far reaching.
