Felipe Pantone

If you get the chance, have a look at this website showcasing the work of the Argentinian (Spainish-based) street artist Felipe Pantone.

Lovely work, going from early graffiti to recent gallery exhibitions. It makes me think of retro video games, reinvented and placed in unexpected urban surroundings but here is what James Buxton has to say about him:

“Felipe Pantone’s work is at the cutting edge of street art. Straddling conventional graffiti, typography and abstraction, his work fuses bold elements of graphic design with highly evolved geometric shapes to create an ultra-modern aesthetic which complements and reacts with the stark modernity of our cityscapes.”
