Sainsbury’s
We were appointed to help develop Sainsbury’s expanding non-food offer and its store environment, non-food having become a major growth area for the supermarket.
Initially, we spent time with Sainsbury’s management to understand the issues and discover the most appropriate direction. This led to a brief to create an engaging and inspirational environment that is easy to shop, rich in attitude and energy, with the key objective of improving Sainsbury’s non-food credentials. The main departments to focus on were the ‘TU’ fashion brand, Health and Beauty and General Merchandise, including Home and Entertainment.
Our brief covered all aspects of the project, from strategic planning, through to departmental adjacencies, navigation, fixture design and graphic communications.
