Jessops
Following the success of our smaller-format store concept in 2010, we designed a new format for Jessops - the ‘Centre of Excellence’ - which opened in Birmingham earlier this year. At 400 sqm, this is the biggest store Jessops operates and it enhances the experience in terms of range, service and education, promoting the brand as an expert in its field.
The store brings together the key brand stories of Sony, Canon and Nikon in a more authoritative fashion. With integrated technology play areas for demonstration and comparison across brands, customers are encouraged to trial cameras, camcorders and new technologies such as 3D. In the ‘Lab’ area, they can bring their own photos, in any format, edit them in-store and print professionally onto a range of materials.
We also developed a new visual language for promotions and advertising, across all media: in-store, print and web. This was launched with the ‘Capture Christmas’ concept and continues into forthcoming seasons and events.
