Following ten years of ongoing design consultancy for the A Jones & Sons Group, we were briefed to create a new brand identity, communications, art direction and environment for formal footwear brand Gordon Scott.

The new retail identity takes inspiration from premium fashion brands and draws confidence from contemporary styling. It is a furniture-based scheme, set against a striking tonal architectural box, with the support of fashion focused photography. Packaging and in-store communications were developed to reinforce the new brand identity, adding a confident and personal attitude.

The shopfront architecture frames the offer within a bitter chocolate canvas, which creates a high contrast backdrop to the pure white logotype of the new brand identity. The interior is a fusion of high quality materials and finishes, creating a premium quality experience for the men’s and women’s offers, while the children’s department features contrasting cornflower blue and white wardrobes and coloured glass feature pendant lighting. This new flagship store sets the benchmark for potential expansion of the brand.
