Jigsaw St James's Emporium

Building on our award-winning Duke Street Emporium concept from 2014, we created Jigsaw’s new flagship store in the landmark St James’s Market development, and it’s the British fashion brand’s most luxurious statement to date.

Where, When

St James's Market, Piccadilly, London; November 2016

About the client

British clothing retailer Jigsaw has long been associated with eclectic style and championing up-and-coming creatives. Our work on its ambitious London flagship spanned interior design, identity design, packaging, print collateral, environmental graphics, signage and sourcing artists.

A bit more detail

The store has been given a premium treatment in tune with its iconic Piccadilly position. The tone is set with a gleaming bronze-clad fascia, and new Jigsaw St James’s identity. The Emporium offers Jigsaw’s full range of men’s and women’s clothing, footwear and accessories across 300sqm, in addition to a 100sqm shop-in-shop for sister brand The Shop at Bluebird. The two spaces are set apart with contrasting aesthetics, yet framed and connected.

Fitting the store’s affluent surroundings, there’s a high level of service – a large glass-wrapped cash desk accentuates the terrazzo within, complemented by a grand iridescent backdrop that connects the two floors. Large fitting rooms are finished with two-tone metallic surfaces and a large-scale mirrored wall to create a boutique feel, and a dedicated press room in the basement will become a go-to destination for Jigsaw fashion shows, media launches and collection previews.
