1. Setting Sale


    The January sales are the biggest of the year and, in the current climate, have never been more important for retailers who need to fight for our attention to spend money with them. We went on an expedition around central London and Shoreditch to see what brands were doing to draw us in and to see if there was anything new we could learn about sale windows for future projects. There were a lot of recognisable ideas, but others that were really original and interesting. From French Connection and Zara's unexpected sale colours, to John Lewis and M&S using QR codes to encourage out-of-hours sale shopping, here's what we found.
